Here’s a short poem dedicated to the sun, even as it fades into the Autumnal sky.
I see you when I wake
On a glorious summer morn
Your effulgent daybeams spake
E’er since Man was born.
Beaming bedazzling brilliance
Incandescent in resplendent form,
Life-giving invigorating warmth.
When I see you hanging your hat
Lofty in your heavenly height,
I could know everything,
That has ever been, felt or known.
So mightily majestic,
You are a part of me.
